Because I need to test this baby out [and I have an unhealthy obsession of my dogs]

Well, well, well. Jocelyn, who has been procrastinating hard core on creating this blog has finally done it.

I’m not going to lie, the weeks leading up to D Day (departure day: January 29) have been of mix of dawdling, day dreaming and overall denying that the very trip I have been anticipating since I took my first college tour isĀ finally arriving.

For some odd reason, I don’t know why I ever thought this, but I didn’t think this day would actually come. Japan 2014. Study Abroad. It seemed like some ever distant dream that would never even come close to coming true. I was practically anticipating the news that it wouldn’t happen and I would have to move on with my life.

Maybe that’s why I left everything to the last minute.

And I should stop taking pictures of my dogs. They take up space on my SD card.

But who doesn’t love a face like this:

No one. And if you do, get out.

The countdown really begins and all I can think about is Beyonce.

This is will probably be the only post I make until Japan. I have a feeling that everything I left for the last minute will creep up on me and I’ll be in a state of frenzy for 8- wait no- 7 days.

I hope you follow this blog. I know they can be boring and long sometimes, but you can find me on Twitter for simple, 140 character updates and Tumblr, for mostly pictures. I have an Instagram, but I rarely post, much less know how to use it.

I leave you with a quotation. Mostly because they make me feel better, but I guess it’ll benefit you as well:

“I was born lost and take no pleasure in being found.” -John Steinbeck
